Glen Arbor is also home to great dining options from local coffee roasting companies to upscale restaurants.

Downtown, you’ll find shops to meet your every need. Family-friendly toy shops, exceptional art galleries, unique clothing stores and specialty shops offer something for everyone. Glen Arbor is also the headquarters of Cherry Republic, the land of Life, Liberty, Beaches and Pie offering gourmet cherry products including dried cherries, chocolate covered dried cherries, cherry salsa, jams and jellies.

With Sleeping Bear Dunes, Lake Michigan, the Crystal River and Big and Little Glen Lakes nearby, outdoor enthusiasts have plenty of activities to choose from. Rent a bike, canoe, kayak or boat. Go on a fishing charter. Hike in the National Park. Play tennis or golf. Even play a round of mini-golf at the River.

The Glen Arbor Arts Association is an active organization that hosts a wide variety of art exhibits, classes and performances throughout the year. The Association hosts The Manitou Music Festival presenting concerts featuring national and regional performers of classical, jazz, and folk music in idyllic outdoor & family friendly locations.

The best-known celebration in Glen Arbor is the annual July 4th Parade.
